Our Canadian ambassadors were treated to a busy week. Along with the customary Biltmore House and Cradle of Forestry visits, some hiking, and downtown Hendersonville time, we packed in a tour of the Thomas Wolfe House in Asheville and a full day’s trip to PARI (Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute.)
There were six Manitobans who journeyed here, and they acquired a good knowledge of Western North Carolina and the special gift of new Southern Appalachian friends. Favorites of the six ambassadors were home-hosted dinners, PARI, and the Biltmore House
