FFWNC was pleased to host twelve ambassadors from Friendship Force Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho and one ambassador from Friendship Force Southern Oregon. We visited the Biltmore Estate, Pisgah Forest and Chimney Rock. We spent a day in Asheville which included the 
LaZoom Comedy Bus tour and the Moog Factory, and ended the journey in North Carolina with a visit to the Veterans’ Healing Farm in Hendersonville, NC.
On September, 13th, we transported the ambassadors to Jonesborough, Tennessee. At the Storyteller Museum, we met the Knoxville Club for a “hand-off” of the ambassadors. Allison Lindsey of FFI spoke to us at lunch and gave us an overview of what is happening at FFI and provided details about the newly-formed FFI “individual journey” concept. We ended the day with attending a spectacular storytelling session at the museum.
The journey was truly memorable.
